Of meters in the bath

They were said to have come hovering
In stations larger than the eyes could see
They were said to secret diagrams, sound pictorial
They were said to have been tall
                                                  like that Tull.

By bigotry, centurions of the probe,
That man that walked asking 'what next?'
They were said to be children of angels
Who knew greed and snatched and snatched

Blare of notes, blasting far.

The daughters of Eve could just be fair
They swam about and brandished their wares
They were said to come hurrying down
To take and to taste, these giants were.
